So, because we've had to (unexpectedly) quickly find a new place to stay, I've had very little opportunity to do anything remotely fun. I did purchase tickets to a show tonight before we got the news of the housing situation, so I was kinda locked into having a nice evening tonight 😊

So, it's been a couple of weeks since I've spoken to my mom. Without getting into too many details, I told her that I wanted her to be honest with me, and that the next message she sends me should be that honesty, or not at all. And it's beginning to look like not at all.

The absolute worst day at work today, start to finish, including the grossest thing since I was working at the kid's play place.

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

Btw, I remember there being some anxieties around folks expressing their opinions during primaries.
Besides being nowhere near a presidential primary at the moment, now is in fact the time for people to express certain lines they expect candidates not to cross.
Protect trans folks.

My boss took one look at me, post dental surgery and only ibuprofen to manage my pain, and another look at the schedule with exactly one booking on it, and told me to go home and rest. It's bad

There are more empty homes in ‘Murica than homeless people.

Whenever folks say things like "It will be better after midterms", I just think about how there are literally a group of legislators on the lam in other states with the threat of a felony arrest for exercising the full use of their tools as legislators to prevent a national rigging of power.
