This is, imo, the most important part of Mamdani's message - & it is replicable, moral, & the exact opposite of Trump/MAGA messaging.

I want to govern for all of Massachusetts. I want to make everyone's lives better. I won't earn everyone's support, but I want the opportunity to fight for everyone.
Mamdani: "While only action can change minds, I promise you this: If you are a New Yorker, I am your mayor. Regardless of whether we agree I will protect you, celebrate with you, mourn along side you, and not for a second hide from you."

Good time to re-up: you should negatively judge politicians who post on twitter more than bluesky.

This is doubly true of politicians on the left, whose accounts are throttled and claim to advocate policies exactly opposing Musk's.

So much corruption.

In order to build a strong and trusted government from the wreckage of this administration, we will need full investigations and prosecutions for anyone who is found to have engaged in unlawful activity.
DHS reportedly fast-tracked a contract worth almost $1 billion to a company led by a donor to a pro-Trump nonprofit group where one of the officials overseeing the deal previously worked.

That raises serious ethics concerns.

The same people who want every school to be fortified like ft Knox because of mass shootings suddenly think masked men screaming "WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN" should be able to walk into any daycare center they want.
CNN: “Surely you don’t think a daycare should be unlocked.”

SHIRLEY: “There should be a reception area.”

CNN: “No, every day care is locked.”

SHIRLEY: “Fair point.” 🤔

He shows up to a day care with masked men and wonders why they don’t let him in.

With his attempts to end birthright citizenship, President Trump seeks to create a subclass of Americans denied their rights as American citizens.

We refuse to let that happen. We’re fighting back at the Supreme Court.

This is a huge win for the people of Portland, LA, and Chicago, and for the rule of law.

As this year comes to a close, we're grateful to the over 400,000 ACLU supporters who made it clear: Troops don't belong on our streets.

Childcare workers are poorly paid and childcare centers are always under-resourced.

Now, because some right-wingers made unfounded allegations on twitter, an entire city is going to suffer.

And those same right-wing twitter wackos have already made clear Boston is their next target.
BREAKING

The Trump administration says it has frozen all childcare payments to Minnesota in the aftermath of allegations of fraud by some in the Somali community.

Important: allegations along these lines have existed for years, which has resulted in prosecutions starting with the Biden DOJ.

The entire right wing media apparatus is in a rabid frenzy saying every childcare is fraudulent and now people are showing up to random daycare centers demanding to see the children and screaming at daycare workers. This is absolutely insane and I worry this is going to end in a major tragedy.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is far from over.

Today, the Israeli government announced that it would suspend the aid work of several humanitarian organizations that provide lifesaving aid to Palestinians in Gaza living through what Amnesty International and other groups labeled as a genocide.

Tell Congress to vote yes on this bill and protect our communities.

ICE's 287(g) program turns local police into a weapon for ICE, meaning more racial profiling, more fear in our communities, and more people in immigrant detention. Tell Congress to end it now.

2025 has been an incredibly hard year for trans people. And yet... the political project to erase us is failing. In spite of them having so many levers of power, many of us have continued to thrive, and new pathways open up every day to get around the attacks.

My case for hope for 2026.
