Year's worth of British bread lost this decade as extreme weather bites

New analysis suggests that wheat production is down by the equivalent of over a year’s supply of bread for the UK, after extreme weather hits harvests.

The impacts of Climate Change are real & profound and are only set to get worse. Ever wetter winters & warmer Springs & Summers are having impacting our ability to produce our own food, to provide food security resulting in increased economic hardship for our farmers & food price inflation.

Climate change is warming waters & increasing the potential for tropical cyclones which when carried along by & interacting with a roaring ever twisting jet stream seem to be pushing more post tropical storms Europe's way right now. A real challenge for weather forecasting models & weather impacts.

Is the government blocking the publication of a report into the national security threat posed by the climate crisis?
