A beautiful evening walk. Just a few miles outside of #Birmingham city centre and tonight it’s so tranquil with just the sound of the birds settling in. Worth protecting ? A jewel yet still threatened by inappropriate development.

A chilly walk after a snowfall in the night.
The sky was glorious, lighting up the water and the flocks of birds all settling on the water and margins
It feels so calm yet, what impact will the proposed housing development have here at the #edgbastonreservoir Nature Reserve?

Plans have been put forward to part-pedestrianise Bearwood Road. This would open up space for recreation, chess matches, amateur wrestling matches, accordion playing, and allow cafes, bars and restaurants to expand onto the pavement and giving the high street a new lease of life.
