🌎 #JavierMilei is not merely shifting Argentina's foreign policy but dismantling it's diplomatic institutions, argues @consuelothiers.bsky.social.
💭 As ideology replaces expertise, #Argentina is a stark example of how personalist leadership can upend international relations.

At @edinburghpir.bsky.social, I was lucky enough to share an office with @ugurozdemir.bsky.social and @jess-smith.bsky.social, and then with Nicola Nymalm. I can't imagine better office-mates; fun, friendly, and thoughtful.

The last thing I did at @edinburghpir.bsky.social ‬and @uoe-sps.bsky.social, was create this site for the best blog posts from the political behaviour course that I ran:

blogs.ed.ac.uk/political_be...

There's some excellent stuff on a range of topics (see below). Well worth a read, in my opinion!

Just watched ep. 8 of Andor.

Filmed in 2023, but plot revolving around the Empire sending stormtroopers to a city, deliberately provoking demonstrations, and then ensuring that violence ensues as an excuse for imposing military rule/occupation doesn't exactly look subtle right now..
