"Affirmation" is different than "mandated direction".
While anti-trans hatred would have people believe that "affirmation" only "affirms" a single, narrow understanding of oneself and punishes deviation from that understanding, that's not actually how "affirmation" works.

What's weirdsadrage about the accusations that "gender ideology" mandates a form of "gender affirming care" that railroads youth from blockers to HRT to surgery is that we "gender ideologists" fought (at great risk to ourselves!) to replace Dr controlled forced treatment w generalized affirmation.
Under that framework, hard fast rules like waiting to 18 for surgery are supposed to give way to understanding a patient's individualized needs.
In practice, waiting until 18 is still the default for most patients who want surgery, but patients not wanting surgery is much more accepted as well.

I'm constantly reminded that I suck at this game. Or, at least my card evaluation is way off. I would windmill slam this into any deck that could populate.
It’s because the card is overpriced (mana value) and the requirement is too steep (exiling) all for a 3/3. You can’t even control when it happens, either. I wouldn’t put this in a Brudiclad, Ghired, or Trostani deck.
