Timothy Snyder: Trump-wrong re nuclear defense against Russia & China in Greenland. We've had a base there doing exactly that since 1951 as part of NATO alliance. If we seize Greenland, we destroy alliances, friendships, neighborhoods-and we get absolutely nothing in return.

About 1,500 soldiers w/ 11th Airborne Division in Alaska have been placed on prepare-to-deploy orders with a mission in Minnesota in mind, defense officials tell me tonight. Unclear if some or all of them ultimately will go.

News reported tonight by ABC News, too.

Trump doesn’t need to own Greenland for national security.

He also isn’t worried about Russia
Trump says he needs to take Greenland to stop Russia.

He is currently planning joint Arctic energy deals with Putin. He is blocking aid that would actually stop Russia in Ukraine.

You don't go into business with an enemy you are trying to contain.

Trump’s excuse is a scam

I'd love news organizations to get a comment from all the corporations, such as SPOTIFY, that continue running ICE ads on their platforms.

Do they support ICE murdering US citizens?

They still support ICE?

Let American consumers know!

The Moron Doctrine, it is
Of course it is. (He's going for some kind of record. He's already threatened military action against Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Panama, and Venezuela while taking punitive economic actions against virtually everyone else in the Hemisphere. The Monroe Doctrine it ain't.)

Smith: We had also interviewed Boris Epshteyn… He corroborated that they were, in fact, trying to call senators. He dissembled and tried to imply that the president hadn’t directed him to do it, even though there was a text message saying specifically that they had.

I need you to listen to and share this story - of how Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russian money for his billionaire friends.

It could be the greatest corruption of American foreign policy in our history. Russia gets Ukraine. Trump's friends get rich.

One of whom presented a Russian capitulation document as a US peace plan. That’s the headline. We need headlines that are true and not news jargon that washes out the basic facts.
President Donald Trump’s demand that Ukraine sign a deal by Thanksgiving appears to have softened as he leaves some of the most important details of the peace plan in the hands of his envoys, one of whom was just embroiled in a high-profile phone leak. https://wapo.st/481ZdYG
