Der Bundeskanzler, die Minister*innen und die Bundestagsabgeordneten erhalten zusammen im Jahr Bezüge von knapp unter 100 Millionen Euro brutto, wenn ich halbwegs richtig geschätzt habe. Das ist etwas weniger als ein Zehntelpromille des öffentlichen Gesamthaushalts, viel zu sparen gibt es da nicht.

Die Kaserne in Höxter wurde feierlich in Hammerstein-Equord-Kaserne umbenannt. Oberst Michael Lutz, Kommandeur des ABC-Abwehrregiments 7, und Christoph Freiherr von Hammerstein-Gesmold, ein direkter Nachfahre des neuen Namensgebers, enthüllten gemeinsam den neuen Namen.

Der Model United Verein meiner Uni, den ich vor 15 Jahren mltgegründet habe, hat nun beschlossen vorerst nicht mehr an der National Model United Nations in New York City teilzunehmen. Begründet wurde das u.a. mit der politischen Lage in den USA.

Both are normal activities, as annual implies.
