There's no way the Hearthstone algorithm is real wdym I play Agro Paladin and get 5 DKs and 3 Mages just all the board-clear in the world and the second I swap to Dragon Warrior I go up against Warlocks and Shamans and shit. Where was this when I was on Paladin????

Note that the unchecking "Community Sites and Apps" checkbox in the Battle.net Account settings does hide your house (and all your other data), so that is a short-term solution if you don't mind any other sites/armory losing access to data.

I'm pretty surprised that the API is kind of how it is and isn't locked behind bnet auth perms that correlate to the ingame permissions. Frankly I think this highlights a larger conversation about how bnet APIs effectively do very little to provide true privacy for its players.
One thing that surprised me a little when we messed with this is that it exposes and effectively allows the export of all houses. There was some discussion about it overnight after the launch of Wowhead's tool made it easily accessible for users too, which I think is a good discussion to have.
