More Irish activists have now been taken by the IDF from international waters including author Naoise Dolan, TD Barry Heneghan and psychiatrist Veronica O’Keane.

They are part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

Just to underline this: there are councillors in local authorities who have been co-opted without a view, and there are senators who have been appointed or voted in by a mere few dozen people.... and they have more of a democratic mandate than Steen.

Stop humouring her.

The rest of us shouldn't have to deal with the consequences of the Farage-ing of an unsuccessful political candidate who gets clicks... especially just because journalists would rather tell this story than explain the triple lock.

The energy credits were great. The replacement seems to rule out a lot of those that are already struggling.

Unless there is a 100% derelict property tax, or close to it, I don't want to hear about FFG doing "everything they can". #SpéirGhorm

My sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Global Sumud Flotilla. I'm home safe & will be followed by the other Irish people today. I'm just catching up and have much more to share but for now I am so so grateful for everyone's attempts to free us. Remember that Gaza is the story not us.

Absolutely fuming at this Derelict Property Tax move in #Budget25 - any change like this will take years to bed in, meanwhile any efforts to collect the legacy Derelict Site Levy will be abandoned while councils wait for new legislation.

A gigantic win for property speculators. Smells like FFG.

There's been a few cases in Local Elections but generally what happens is the election for that LEA is postponed for a fortnight or so.
