The ECHR has forced signatories (cases brought against UK & Turkey) to investigate when its forces use against its own

heather humphreys green paper on disability reform from the end of 2023 proposed to reduce disability allowance payments based on opaque criteria. this dragged on for months, causing upset and stress to one of the most marginalised groups in the country. should have ended her career tbh.

The Basic Income for the Arts Scheme is €325 a week, similar to what they gave out during the pandemic. This is how much they've deemed one needs in order to live in Ireland. So why is disability benefit only €244? Why are disabled and sick people expected to live so far below the poverty line?

There was much detail in the Indo about the investigative efforts the paper made in uncovering Gavin’s behaviour. What the newspaper and its editorial staff did not say is that the scoop was handed on a plate to them by Gavin’s tenant who happens to be a fellow colleague in Mediahuis, owner of the Indo and various titles, including the Sunday World. That former tenant is the deputy editor of the World, Niall Donald.
