Relieved that Yvonne Ridley is free and heading home to Jedburgh after illegal detention in Israel's Ktzi'ot Prison. Her hunger strike & denial of medication are a stark reminder of the brutality faced by peace activists. All 4 Scots from the Global Sumud Flotilla have now been released.

Without action, by the end of the parliament disposable incomes (after housing costs) will be on average £570 lower per year than today.

We're on track for a decade of decline in families’ disposables incomes by the end of the parliament. But this is not inevitable.

The gov can introduce targeted policies like investing in social security, and interventions in key areas like housing and energy.

Sucking up to fossil fuel corporations while sticking the rest of us with higher bills.

We were exposed to the energy crisis after the invasion of Ukraine because of our dependence on oil + gas. Staying yoked to fossil fuels will leave us at the mercy of energy price spikes. 1/2

This would be laughable if it wasn't so serious: yet again, the Tories are claiming that we can get "all our oil and gas" from the North Sea and that we should be doing even more to support the industry to extract.

The Gov's cowardice on the National Park decision shows yet again that the SNP will always side with land owners over the rural working class. The communities who need investment and support the park ignored in favour of folk protecting their wealth. No investment, no jobs, no climate action.
