Humans pick and choose the non-human animals will receive legal protections and the ones who will will be brutally exploited. If someone treated a dog or a cat the same way animal ag treats animals they’d be charged with a crime.

Sometimes when someone loses a well loved dog they say "I just can't do this again" I get it.
I would just like to throw a thought out.
Fostering. Think about it. You could save a dogs life. Help it be ready for it's forever home. Have the joy of seeing that dog and it's humans find each other.

Any non-vegan who uses the phrase “circle of life” to justify eating animals is ignorant of the meaning of the phrase and really shouldn’t use it. I’m not saying they’re ignorant, but only that they’re ignorant of the meaning of the phrase, and probably ignorant of all the facts about animal ag.
