The United CEO’s killing should be called an assassination. Heads of insurance cos wield the kind of power over life and death once reserved for heads of state, and they do so while exercising enormous political power and with seemingly little care for the lives or average people.

What’s wild is how uniform, across all platforms, the responses to the United CEO’s assassination are: people sharing times they were denied critical coverage and expressing surprise it took this long.
If only there were a minuscule chance the industry might reflect on that.
