This is Winston Churchill visiting the White House during World War II.

Funny how he isn’t wearing a suit either. Almost like he was a wartime leader defending his country from being slaughtered and wiped out by an authoritarian aggressor.

Russia and China are now eagerly trying to recruit the laid off federal employees that Trump has fired, setting up recruitment websites offering jobs, and trying to reach them on message boards.

This is a massive threat to our national security.

"How dare Zelenskyy say mean things about my best buddy Putin?!"

What a horrible man.
A reporter asks Trump what Zelenskyy needs to do to restart talks:

"He doesn't have to stand there and say about Putin this, Putin that, all negative things."

Donald Trump is big mad when Zelenskyy rightfully torches Putin.

Just look at these paragraphs from the AP story.

Hegseth called Brown unqualified solely because he's Black. Then they fired him... and replaced him with a white guy so indisputably unqualified that he requires a Presidential waiver.

This is what "merit" means to them.

He's going to keep taking credit for Biden's accomplishments, and fixing problems he created himself. And making a big a big photo op out of all of it, and MAGA will fall for it every time.

just start saying this plainly to more people

i'm serious.
The constitution quite clearly gives Congress the power of the purse, a power the Executive branch is pretending it now has.

Or did you not pay attention at all in school?

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.

His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.
