Don't tell Palestinians not to have hope or that the ceasefire deal is doomed.

They know what Trump is. They know what the Occupation is. They live under Occupation every day. We're not doing them any favors telling them what they already know.

Let them have hope. We all need it. So do they.

May Palestinians have a moment to breathe, gather, mourn, rest, and live.

A reminder for the rest of us. Korea has been under ceasefire for 70 years, technically still at war, and still occupied by the U.S. Empire.
We are not yet free. I wish more for Korea.

I wish more for Palestine, too.

students said they weren’t really poetry fans but loved novels, so i wrote down a line they picked out from jane eyre, scanned it, noted the metrical substitutions and internal rhymes. reader, they took pictures of the chalkboard.
