"We cannot pretend climate change isn't real. We cannot ignore it. And we can't give up and say it's all too hard." - Chris Bowen

They approve more fossil fuel projects. They wanted a ministerial override to allow them to pass projects that wouldn't pass climate rules

Yeah nah, not buying

"These are diabolical pollution numbers that suggest we are on track for cataclysmic climate change." AU's once in a generation "progressive" government are stuck. Could they move with the Greens to legislate #Science backed #ClimateAction policy? Yep. Will they? Nope. Just sad. #AusPol 🇦🇺 🐨 ♻️ 🌱

If Australia is doing it bet China does too.

1/3 of global industrial #silver goes into solar panels. Over half of silver is used in industry.

Not saying it won't have alt industrial uses but looks to me like supply will increase which would create headwinds on it longer term as a store of value.

Overheard at the servo just now
Young cop hogging the night service window to whine about being assaulted . Without missing a beat the teenager behind the counter said, ' yes well, you are wearing provocative clothing'
It's going to be a good day. Earliest sunrise I've ever seen.

This is outrageous. I suggest you ring your local member after looking at your local seat preferences at the last. Then ask for Green representation

What they are not telling you is our water tables are all connected. Pollute one, destroy another.
On the driest inhabited continent on the planet.
Did you know, the QLD Government says coal seam gas fields on agricultural land in QLD can cause groundwater levels to drop by up to 500m?

What an awful industry.

Facebook is a big human trade laundry , specialising in exploiting children
“Facebook accounts for 59 to 65 percent of online trafficking recruitment in federal cases. For children specifically, 65 percent. Meta platforms generated 85 percent of all child sexual abuse material reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2022.”

GET OFF META!
Mark Zuckerberg has more in common with Jeffrey Epstein than you might expect
Is Meta complicit in a massive transnational human trafficking trade?
