My current favorite bit of right-wing Christian hypocrisy is Ken Paxton, a man whose wife is divorcing him for adultery, forcing Texas schools to unconstitutionally post "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery."

Paxton tells Texas schools to follow Ten Commandments law despite court ruling
Attorney General Ken Paxton's guidance comes days after U.S. District Judge Fred Biery sided with 16 families who sued their school districts to stop the law from going into effect.

This is what you voted for⁉️

Detainees treated like violent criminals. Moved from cage to cage at 3 a.m. and sleep-deprived. Only 3 minutes to eat. Bathrooms three times a week. No towel to dry off after a shower and growing fungus on their bodies.

Listen to this once. Then listen to it again.

If by “torn cornea” you mean “the hypocritical optics of teaming up with convicted sex trafficker Gislaine Maxwell to alleviate the Epstein files saga”, then sure.

Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

See you soon, NYC.

This is a crime against humanity. Marco Rubio was already responsible for more than 300,000 unnecessary deaths. This is a deliberate effort to add more. This man is a monster.
Secretary Rubio is planning to withhold 500 metric tons of vital food aid that could feed 1.5 million starving children… and then incinerate the food once it expires.

UNACCEPTABLE!

i'm surprised by how low energy and farcical that whole military parade situation was. I was expecting Moscow 1945 and we got Spirit Halloween instead.

I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.
It's mind-blowing how little attention this extraordinary statement has received. It's briefly mentioned in a couple news articles, but this MSNBC opinion piece is the only extended discussion of it I've seen: www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

I seem to recall reading an article recently in which Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was cited as doubting whether bacteria are real. Even if that's not correct: Why do we have health and human services overseen by someone who has no actual substantial background in health or human services?

Tommy Tuberville says his wife's homestead exemption established his residency in Alabama, but election records show both of them voted in Florida after that. And that's only the beginning.
Why did Tommy Tuberville vote in Florida if he lived in Alabama?
