MADELEINE DEAN: The president is unhinged. He's unwell

JOHNSON: A lot of folks on your side are too

D: Oh my god, please. That performance in front of the generals?

J: I didn't see it

D: It's so dangerous! Our allies are looking elsewhere. Our enemies are laughing. You have a POTUS who's unwell.

When set out on this project to uncover data and stories about #MMIP
in Arizona, my goal was to lend my seat in this privileged space I hold as a journalist to Indigenous people who’ve long said they don’t feel heard or seen. azluminaria.org/mmip-arizona/

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

Border wall is now actively going up in the San Rafael Valley, a beautiful and remote area sandwiched between mountains on the AZ-Sonora border.

“Of all the places where a wall is unwarranted, this is one of the most unwarranted places."

New: 404 Media is suing ICE. We have filed a lawsuit demanding ICE release its $2 million contract with Paragon, a company that makes powerful spyware to break into phones and read encrypted messages. This is expensive for a small outlet but this info is important

This is an archived government report that found that “Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists.”

It existed yesterday and is gone today.
What NIJ Research Tells Us About Domestic Terrorism

NEW: AP reports all 14 men have now been deported to their home countries by Ghana, in direct violation of international law. A court in the US determined each person would be persecuted or tortured in their home countries. We sent them to Ghana, which quickly deported them to their home countries.

We spoke to @theintercept.com about a bonkers bill that would let Marco Rubio, who thinks pro-Palestine op-ed writers are terrorists, revoke passports for whoever he deems a supporter of terrorism.

It would also let a future Democratic administration target those it dislikes the same way.
New Bill Would Give Marco Rubio “Thought Police” Power to Revoke U.S. Passports
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already sought to punish immigrants for speech. New legislation might let him revoke passports from U.S. citizens.

Remarkable statement from Gov. Spencer Cox on social media aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s murder: “There is a tremendous amount of disinformation.”

He says there are “bots from Russia, China—all over the world—that are trying to instill disinformation.”

“I would encourage you to ignore those.”

Grateful @davidgilbert.bsky.social covered this.

I NEVER celebrated anyone’s murder.

I said I was terrified the far-right would use this as an excuse to retaliate, and they’re proving me right with every post.

These guys are out for blood. They don’t care whose.

This is really bad.

You know who was also a young husband and father—not to mention ex-Marine—who died, not attacking others to make himself rich and powerful, but to save the lives of others?

David Rose, the officer killed by the anti-vax domestic terrorist who attacked the CDC.

This doesn't seem to be an idle threat. Landau is responding to people reporting posts on X with an image suggesting that they'll put permanent black marks in peoples' files or even seek to strip visas from people who "made light" of Kirk's assassination.

Another betrayal of the First Amendment.
Felipe Tadewald, @FelipeTadewald, responds to Landau: "Take a look at This one. He says: "he already Lost on The First bullet." Underneath is a screenshot of a Brazilian account which wrote "na primeira ele já perdeu o debate," which translates as "he already lost the debate." Underneath that is an image that says "1 Charlie Kirk vs. 30 bullets"

Christopher Landu responds with an image that looks like the State Department Logo in a bat signal, with "El Quitavisas" written under it. That loosely translates as "The Visa-Canceller") Acclaimed Journalist, @Jonathan_Witt writes: "This is a South African woman who works in DC and is in your country on a visa. She hates President Trump, has sided with America’s enemies including Hamas, and today celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk. There is no reason this woman should be in the US let alone in DC." UNderneath he posts a screenshot where the woman wrote "It's here. For his wife and children..none for him.
He believed gun- related deaths were acceptable and a small price to pay for gun ownerships. His position was that some would be shot and killed, and it's a small price to pay. I imagine he is proud now. Argue with the wall."
