It's become clear that this administration is just a protracted war on anybody who's read a book without pictures in it. It's a miracle we're all still getting up and going to work every morning. The psychological drain is the point, and I'm increasingly grateful to the people who are still decent.

UPenn is an absolute disgrace!

“UPenn came back to the table and asked us what they can do to make it right. We said, ‘You have to completely rewrite your institutional policy.’ They signed on the dotted line.”

Paula Scanlan and other Penn swimmers have said publicly that Thomas was naked in the locker room with them when they were changing. Remember, the counseling advice?
Of course 'sex-based rights' isn't a novel point of view.

The fantastic sexism of the far Left is on full display today on Bluesky with the reactions to UPenn’s apology for violating the rights of women athletes. No recognition, let alone disagreement, with what UPenn did to those women. For example:

We have no idea how many detranistioners there actually are because they NEVER are, NEVER have been included in post-transition studies.

The indications are that there are/may be tens of thousands.

The trans community tries to silence/dismiss them.

One catastrophic misdiagnosis is one too many.

But didn't the right do that because things changed underneath them? When I was a kid in rural America, pronouns didn't require a mental lookup table and no students transed and requested use of the locker rooms of the opposite sex. This is all new, and the movement isn't explaining its case.

Yeah, American politicians do not seem to understand that the damage is already catastrophic. If not arrested soon it will be existential. America will no longer be a scientific superpower.
The current administration has more successfully destroyed US science and the scientific enterprise than the hypothetical nuclear weapons program in Iran.
NEW: NSF will be kicked out of their building. Announcement will be made tomorrow by HUD Sec. and Governor of VA. HUD will take over the NSF building over the next two years.
