Utah Republicans are fighting to keep their congressional gerrymander after a state judge struck it down and ordered a fairer one. Their recent efforts to circumvent the directive may signal plans to take the battle to the Supreme Court.

Around the year 1900,
18% of American children died before the age of 5.
Plus, their premature deaths haunted their families.

Vaccination knocked that death rate below 1%.

💉 Science saves children and families.

What was childhood like before vaccines?
The anti-vax movement has gone mainstream, but before these shots, grief and loss marked the lives of children.

Why the Posse Comitatus Act Must Be Reformed
Significant exceptions and loopholes, along with a lack of enforcement mechanisms, undermine the law that prevents military involvement in law enforcement.

Not all of the anti-vax influences in the US have been domestic or organic.

Russia ran an anti-vaccination messaging campaign on social media targeting a US audience for years as part of its active measures efforts, even before COVID hit (pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...).
One of @pewresearch.org's "striking findings" from 2025 is relevant again as measles cases rise:

Republican support for requiring public school kids to get the measles/mumps/rubella vaccine has fallen sharply: 52% support it today, down from 79% in 2019.

Yet another reason why I won’t support any Democrat who opposes eliminating the filibuster to reform the Supreme Court.
Trump’s henchmen are openly bragging to Republican donors how the MAGA #SCOTUS will help them win elections by ruling the Republican’s way on campaign finance contribution and redistricting cases.

Trumpers are counting on right wing judicial coup from Roberts.
