Haven't been able to craft much between moving and hurting my arm, but managed to finish this over the weekend.

Not 100% happy with how it came out, but I did it.

Also first time using this style tassle ending. I do think that looks sharp.

That reading this made me feel scared & small & alone. I felt paralyzed.

The Cartoon Network edit of Vampire Hunter D rewired my brain. I remember being allowed to stay up to watch it even though I had to be up early for church the next day. I was completely blown away that a cartoon could tell a story like that.

D was the coolest character I had ever seen.

Cashew chicken. One of the most thoroughly Americanized versions of Chinese food in the world and uniquely Springfieldian. Even as nearby as Kansas City and St Louis don't do it right.

I miss it so much.
A plate of cashew chicken and fried rice. The chicken is cut into small pieces and deep fried, then coated in an oyster and soy sauce gravy. Top with cashe2s and green onions. It was invented in the 1960s by a gentleman named Leong (his restaurant was reopened by his son about 20 years ago. The picture is not from there) who modified his recipes to better appeal to Midwestern palettes.
