My current commute includes about 25 min of walking each way, and I walked to work when I lived in Utah too. I love getting groceries on foot and I love feeling active every day! Walking 10 min to the train is hardly a hardship and is WAY better than having to drive everywhere.

We are on a PATH train that should in theory depart in 3 min according to the schedule but this is what the realtime departures are saying right now… 😬

I usually don’t drive into NYC, but I had to yesterday and it took SO LONG to get home. 70 minutes just to get from Lincoln Center to the entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel. It was late at night, but taking the train still would’ve been better. Not sure why anyone willingly drives!

Just saw a modern take on the Nutcracker tonight, which was refreshing given how many times I’ve seen the original. But also I can’t help but be judgy about music choices. How could you leave out the waltz of the snowflakes?! And why is the waltz of the flowers in the middle of the divertissment?!?

Drove through horrendous rush hour traffic in the rain for an hour and 15 minutes to Paramus, all to see Interstellar in IMAX. It was so worth it.

This is such a good write-up of what makes Interstellar so special. I also cry every time I watch it. Can’t wait to see it in IMAX for the first time next week.
i think INTERSTELLAR is a bona fide masterpiece — maybe nolan's greatest film — and i'm not at all ashamed to say that i weep every time i watch it.

Every time I visit NC I fly back to NJ early on Monday and go directly to work from the airport because it’s usually significantly cheaper… and yet I regret it every single time
