Judge Bissoon who just ruled against the DOJ attempting to get personal data of trans patients & former patients, was appointed by President Obama.

Your reminder that the record 235 judges appointed by Biden & guided through by Schumer & previously appointed ones are what’s holding things together.

Where is all the outrage that Johnson is sending the house home early? So the subsidies will expire despite the discharge petition…so many people are going to get hurt from this. Why is Congress full of spineless self serving 🍊serving useless members.

As expected, in order to avoid a vote on extension of the ACA, Mike Johnson is gaveling the House into recess.

Trump and Speaker Johnson are trying to block a vote to extend ACA tax credits.

Democrats created a discharge petition and got 218 signatures — a majority of the House.

Speaker Johnson needs to bring our bill to the floor NOW and save American families from a premium hike.

President Trump has called for Democrats to be executed for sedition. The voters expect Democrats to come to the table with a real counter-proposal and negotiate a mutually acceptable compromise. That’s doing politics the right way.

THIS IS BIG

For non-academics who might not understand why:
1. Sen. Warren is still a Harvard professor so this is a call coming from inside the house
2. As a tenured law prof, Warren knows it is a VERY big deal from a labor standpoint to call on Harvard to ignore tenure. The bar for this is HIGH.
Per CNN, Elizabeth Warren is calling on Harvard to cut ties with Larry Summers after Jeffrey Epstein's emails released last week by House Dems featured Summers making sexist comments + asking for Epstein’s romantic advice.

We should be patting ourselves on the back, not her.

BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.
