I am so grateful that the heritage of my Jewish side runs through the Ashkenazi’s of Eastern Europe and the vibrant Jewish history of NYC.

Because if it had anything to do at all with the belligerent regime of Israel, the last few years would have completely ruined it for me.

"As one of the few Jews on [the flotilla]...they asked me if I was Jewish...threw me in front of the Israeli flag... we were strip-searched & zip-tied & blindfolded, & sent to this detention camp."

Streets are still closed off in front of the Portland ICE facility at 8:30pm. Protesters have gathered on a side street. Dance party in progress.

FWIW the last two times I visited Chicago I came away with the impression it was one of the best cities I’ve ever been to. (It was summertime, but still…)

I want to live the timeline where 50 years from now, Greta Thunberg is remembered more widely than Donald Trump.

“You and Trump have so many of the same personality traits.”

“Of course!”

You also could acknowledge they probably already did mess with the 2024 elections (they already said they did) but most folks still just don’t want to go there.

Fearlessness is not the *absence* of fear, but rather, a willingness to stay present with fear.

You voted for all of this, very clearly, and convinced many many other people to do so as well.

“I voted for none of this."

Prominent influencers, including Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz, are starting to distance themselves from the president they helped propel to the White House.

Greta Thunberg has just been released and she is back on the warpath, exactly like our leaders should be.

Israel will never silence her or the billions who oppose them.

This is also why the “focus group” and “follow the pollsters” approach of the DNC has failed so utterly.

It makes them look like they believe in nothing personally and just follow what consultants *think* people want.

Even if you agree with them on an issue, you are not inspired by them at all.

I’m never going to run for anything, but I have studied the human mind extensively and I think she is 100% right.

People want to know that you believe in something first, and believe in it completely.

Only after that, do they try to figure out if they agree with what you believe in.

We can’t out-Republican Republicans, nor should we want to.

Democrats need to say what they believe — and actually believe in something.

People educated on the effects of policy are WAY more progressive than those who aren’t.

This is why the oligarchs had to create a news media that is entirely personality/drama-driven and does almost zero policy explanation.

It’s been this way a very long time.

if you ask the average American to describe what they think a tougher immigration system should look like, they will describe something a degree of magnitude softer and more generous than the current reality.

The lesson here is that people are both better and dumber than they appear.
