שבת שלום ומבורך לכולם

ברוכה את שכינה אלתינו רוח העולםים ומלכת העולם'ם

Blessed art Thou, Shekhinah, our G-ddess, Spirit of the Worlds and Queen of the Worlds

I am a *huge* fan of @assistiveware.bsky.social's latest app, Proloquo (not 2Go or 4Text) -- it's the only app that even *approaches* enough vocabulary to keep up with what I want to say when I'm overwhelmed or unmasked enough to want symbol-based AAC.

Well, it took a wee bit longer than I might've preferred for this to arrive (I ordered via Bookshop rather than Amazon so that Bezos gets jack), but I'm *so glad* to finally have Riley Black's @restingdinoface.bsky.social latest in my hot li'l hands! Can't wait to read it! 🧪

Because of exclusionist rhetoric, of the margarine adds lgbtqiahpn2+ couples...

And dogmatism. And exorsexism, enbyphobia, or not really welcoming enbies.

I dive into some of these topics in my lesbian transfeminist essays.
Why are beings still debating the validity of xenogenders, neopronouns, mspec lesbians, lesboys and endo systems in 2025? /genq

They are beings just like you, they are valid and deserving of love. /gen

Are there any other examples of times when reality breaks grammar and we just have to deal with it?

Example: Zero...it's a number so it has to be singular or plural, but since it isn't singular or plural, we just made it plural. "There are zero marbles."

MY LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK ABOUT PRIDE comes out today and I'm feeling extremely Ralph Wiggum "I'm in danger" about it. It's beautiful though and I love it no matter what they say

It is March 2, 2025. My plan was to leave the world on March 2, 2024.

What a difference in a year. I still have bad days. But reasons to stay are easier to find each day.

Thankful for family, for friends, for library kids who ARE going to save the world. Once a library kid, always a library kid 💚

Everything that we warned the American public about regarding RFK Jr. is already happening.

An excerpt from an OpEd that @jimalwine.bsky.social and I published. We wrote about about what happened in Samoa with the measles outbreak there and said, simply:

“The same will happen here”.
