I joined my college's Alliance club [which I was previously too scared to do], became their representative at Student Government meetings, and finally feel like I'm a part of something instead of just standing off to the side.
And I got back into art, which I had barely touched in 2024.

sorry i do b*ch about ai and tech CEOs a LOT and its maybe a bit too bleak for some but genuinely I don't think those people will ever "win" in a way that matters, their lives/stations in life are fundamentally joyless and untenable

One thing I think about ai is the fact that every art medium has its own voice.
A 3d model will look different from a clay sculpture, traditional art will look different from digital, etc.
Mimicking one art medium another is considered very skillful in my experience. [1/4]

Shoutout to commission clients who send crude mockups and stick figure drawings to get across the idea of what they want for their comm. You don't need advanced art skills to communicate concepts.
