@liberopodcast.bsky.social I just have to say, and I know you’re all fantastic journalists, but Brewin’s report on Arsenal-Villa is a thing of beauty. If there’s another official FIFA World Cup film to be made, he must be the favourite to land the narrator role!

Seems Alan Shearer thinks there’s nothing wrong with Newcastle players jumping around celebrating 5th (which there isn’t), yet he thought it “embarrassing” when Arsenal’s did the same when finishing 4th on the same St James’Park ground in 13-14.

I really need to let things go!

Trajectory, vibe, a sense of progress: why Arsenal can’t afford Paris mismatch

If Arsenal’s performance tonight is as pitch-perfect as Barney’s column (which is always pitch-perfect) PSG won’t stand a chance.

They can’t say Football For All and not actually mean it
Trans women belong in women’s sports.

The FA’s ruling to exclude them is cruel, unnecessary, and a sad indictment on the game.

They claim "Football For All", but ban a tiny minority who just want to play the game we all love.

Pot Shot stands with the trans community, always.
FA will ban transgender women from women's football from next season

His track record speaks for itself. While we continue to resist, we should take comfort in that he is deeply incompetent, not very bright & his policies are hurting even his most devoted supporters. Let's not get in the way of his inevitable self-destruction.

I’d love to make fun of this, but at least they’re posting on this platform instead of relying on the one that explicitly promotes far-right extremism at the expense of liberal democracy.

It’s shameful that @arsenalfc.bsky.social is still dormant.
We exit the FA Cup.

Arsenal FC is promoting a murderous regime - and making money from it. Time to ditch the "VISIT RWANDA" partnership, which should never have been struck to start with, and bin those shirts.

I know, who gives a fuck what Alan Brazil thinks but it is incredible that a mainstream radio station can just publish outright misogyny on its programming and nobody bats an eyelid about it. It’s insane how tolerated misogyny is, it’s not even relegated to nudge, nudge wink, wink stuff or coded.
Alan Brazil talking about the inferiority of women's football on the radio? I for one am staggered at this development.

Inevitably to the Visit Rwanda sponsorship bringing a reputational stain on Arsenal and Bayern. The consequences of being sponsored by a state run by questionable regime. Arsenal hasn’t commented.
