Today’s Envirocentre transit symposium has been stimulating. 40% of households in multi-residential housing in K-ward don’t have a car - that’s thousands of people in our ward alone. But are we really taking them into broader transportation planning? Especially transit funding?

I was happy to be at Gladstone Village today, to celebrate the federal government investing $57.7 million from the Housing Accelerator Fund to help build 336 @och-lco.bsky.social affordable homes. This is an additional to the feds contributing the land and the City of Ottawa investing $9 million.

In the last Ontario election, more than 6 million eligible voters did not vote.

That’s 6 million voices missing from the conversation about our province’s future.

Advanced polling happens today and tomorrow.

Please make sure your voice is heard.
