Irish Rail has outlined its programme for additional bike storage spaces on 29000 commuter rail cars that operate on Longford, Maynooth, M3 Parkway, Drogheda, and Dundalk Commuter services. IrishCycle.com previously covered the additional bicycle spaces, but Irish Rail outlined details of the retrofit programme this week. The company confirmed that five seats on the 29000 class of train are being removed and replaced by seven flip-up seats.
