Not being curmudgeonly here but I have never been interested in what youth players we sign if they are not impacting the first team immediately. #LFC

Two teams focused entirely on shutting down the opposition rather than imposing their own style has led to.. rubbish.
The league is low on quality matches these days but we're definitely part of that weight dragging it down rather than it pulling up.

Liverpool have given up a lot of attacking thrust to solidify themselves in recent weeks and so you felt they were always running the risk of one of these games happening. A three-point cushion in fourth place is a positive but this was a disappointing result.

I’m sure the reason you buy Wirtz is to break down compact teams. Even if he’s not at his best it takes one single moment from him to change the game. You have to find a spot for him to make that impact and make sure he’s on the field #LFC
