They've synergied themselves into a corner. People who are heading to Batuu may or may not want to deal with Stark Enterprises, but they really don't want to deal with the owner of both supporting censorship and fascism with the large amount money they're spending.

We need to reckon with the fact that there are engineering challenges that simply cannot be overcome by throwing money at the problem. There are some limits on material reality you just need to accept ambition can’t conquer, but rich people want so badly for wealth to mean that there are no limits.

The issue here is that the investment is so absurdly low — preparing and sending mass emails is so unbelievably cheap it is free — that almost any return makes it worthwhile.
