spotted this beauty on the floor in local woodland. strong metallic blue, especially on its legs. Some kind of Stag Beetle? Anyone know?

a large beetle scrabbling about on the floor, climbing over fallen autumn leaves. Its jagged front legs are hooked over the top of one leave, which has lifted its body and head upwards. Its hard shell has metallic blue and purple hues and touches of yellow on its head

The same beetle now walking quite quickly forwards its back legs stretched out to help push it along revealing the strong metallic blue colours on its legs. Its back is a mixtur of blues, blacks yellows + greens. It is walking across dry sticks and leaves that cover the woodland floor

A Great-spotted Woodpecker hopping up the side of a tree going about its day until it spotted me rudely interfering with its day.

A pheasant looking alarmed as it sees me with my camera. Burnt orange plumage with black spots a white collar, bright red cheeks and a beautiful long curved tail feather. They always look in a permanent state of shock TBH
