Local businesses in Birmingham are suffering. Like residents & bin workers, they want to see an end to the strike. Why did @bhamcitycouncil.bsky.social walk away from a ballpark agreement and from all negotiations back in the summer 2025?

A deal to end the Birmingham bin strikes was at one point agreed in principle with council officials but was blocked by government-appointed commissioners.🤷‍♀️

A fair deal must be put forward for bin workers so that this dispute can be ended. 2/2 🔚

📈 TESCO

In the past four years, food prices in the UK have rocketed by a staggering 40% – yet between 2020/21 and 2024/5 Tesco saw its operating profit balloon by almost three quarters (72%).

This sort of rampant profiteering is simply a disgrace, and it must be stopped.
