It kind of boggles my mind that I haven't seen anyone pick up on the fact that the USA came into existence after a 3% tarrif was imposed on tea. There were a great many factors, of course, but that certainly was a catalyst. Trump tarrifs aren't just stupid, they might be revolutionary #1776
