Chuck Schumer and, to a slightly lesser degree Hakeem Jeffries, came up with the strategy to stay on message on economic issues, and more or less let Trump hang himself and the Republicans electorally. The only problem with that strategy is that is not the only function of Congress.

My MIL got my husband a smart ring for Christmas. She bought it from a knock-off company, got the size wrong, and didn't put a house number for our address. Husband has spent the entire week trying various ways to fix this so we'll get the package. It's like her gift to him is frustration.
