Just entered Act 3 at just under 10 hours in my 100% speedrun of Silksong. In the home stretch now! Barely been able to touch it over the past couple weeks as we moved house and life has been chaos.

My sister unexpectedly passed away last night. She'd turned 39 a week ago.
Casey had been through an unbelievable amount of trials ever since she was a young child. She was my inspiration in kindness, generosity, and fortitude. She was my hero. I am heartbroken.

Watched The Ruins yesterday. Had some moments of great atmosphere, but never really grew and kinda fizzled. Made my skin crawl a few times, but that was body horror stuff. Apparently based on a book, which I bet is much better with the psychological terror they tried to pull off.

What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?
Rainbow Moon immediately came to mind. There are worse but I don't care to rack my brain. The actual gameplay is kind of addictive, but it's just a mess of a game otherwise. I still powered through for some reason.

Fun fact: while looking this up, I found out the guy who threw the pie, Thomas Higgins was not only gay and a prominent writer in the gay community, but his response after was "at least it was a fruit pie", as a reference to gay people being called fruits.

Whew, I got there! The final boss was satisfyingly difficult, easily the toughest challenge in the game for me. It was a cool battle; often felt like a dance, which is something I've appreciated about many of the fights throughout this experience. Enjoyed the last cutscene too :3
