We also had months of discourse over burrito delivery being too expensive because it required paying workers too much for the delivery. We were told that it was a calamity that justified replacing Biden with a fascist and also that it was ablest to say that people can get their food other ways.
Sorry I’m a bit confused here: companies should not be able to pay people a minimum wage but also should not be able to automate services that could only be provided at a minimum wage?
Nah I just think they shouldn't be allowed to operate on paying their workers a starvation wage and trying to get around that by putting boxes on wheels on the pavement is a danger to people, particularly wheelchair users

Indeed. Even the non sexism/racism criticism of Trump is muted now. This Barro article *literally* convinced me to register as a Democrat (I'd never been a member of a party) with it's blistering take on the GOP. Has he written anything like this in the last five years? I'd love to see it if he has.
