I think Democrats should double down on trans rights now. It's obvious that most voters don't care about it so you might as well stick with your principles and goad Republicans into focusing on it at the expense of everything else so they're the ones who look like freaks.

Trying to think of videogames with legit great stories (without gigantic "except XYX" disclaimers). Not just great characters, not just good stories, but *great* stories start to finish.
There are maybe a dozen or so I think would qualify?

GoT discourse does make me appreciate ME3 a bit more. Sure some of the narrative changes over the whole series were questionable but the general story and characters and feel is pretty much perfect up until the last fifteen minutes.

I kinda suspect in 2+ years supporting any form of LLM use will be kind of like aggressive YIMBY-ism or arguing about rent control in left spaces.

I don't think it is the full story but a big part of current LLM politics is a revanchist fascist party coordinating with ideologically insane billionaires to wage a suicidal economic war against the educated citizenry most likely to oppose them.
AI is basically their moon shot solution to keeping professional services in the US while being able to mimic the political economy of petrostates
