Jeffries: In that Oval Office meeting, which lasted over an hour, the amount of time spent talking about health insurance for undocumented immigrants was less than 10 seconds. You know why? Because they know it’s a lie. They didn’t even bother to bring it up—because the cameras weren’t rolling.

Bari Weiss is set to be named the editor in chief of CBS News, the New York Post reports
Paramount Skydance is poised to name Bari Weiss as editor in chief of CBS News in the coming days — giving the hard-charging journalist unusual clout to revamp the struggling network as it also acquires her scrappy news site the Free Press, The Post has learned.

Weiss — a 41-year-old former New York Times opinion writer who has built the Free Press into a buzzworthy site with a contrarian bent — is expected to be named to the top post in a Monday announcement, although the talks are in flux and the timing could change, a source close to the situation said.

Republicans can’t win on their policies, so they are trying to dodge accountability by rewriting the rules. These lawmakers are going out of their way to silence the will of the people and deliberately undermine our democracy.

The White House is continuing to pressure more states to gerrymander their congressional maps because they are afraid of voters holding them accountable for their unpopular policies.

This is a decisive moment for our democracy. Take action to fight back against this power grab. ⬇️

If you are shocked by what the Trump regime is publicly stealing or crimes it is committing, imagine the magnitude of the crimes they are actually hiding.

Jeffries: "Trump and the Republicans spent all year last year promising they were gonna lower the high cost of living. They also spent all of last year running away from Project 2025 ... now all of the sudden, Donald Trump admits it was his project all along. He just did it earlier today."

There is a gulf in America. I submit it is the gulf between good and evil, or at least not-evil and evil.

The gulf is not just between people who oppose this and people who are indifferent to it or reluctantly accept it in support of immigration policy or see it as collateral damage.

This raid is disgusting, abominable behavior, traumatizing children and families in their homes.

"They was terrified. The kids was crying. People was screaming. They looked very distraught. I was out there crying when I seen the little girl come around the corner, because they was bringing the kids down, too, had them zip tied to each other," Watson said. "That's all I kept asking. What is the morality? Where's the human? One of them literally laughed. He was standing right here. He said, 'f*** them kids.'"

So Qatar gets NATO Article 5 level protection, but Ukraine does not? This is raw corruption in action.
A screenshot of an X post by Ron Filipkowski (@RonFilipkow
..., 11h ago) stating: "This is pretty unbelievable. Qatar giving Trump that jet is really paying off for them in a big way." The post includes a quoted X post by Barak Ravid (@BarakRavid
) with an auto-translated Grok Show original message: "As part of the initiative to end the war in Gaza and as compensation to Qatar for the Israeli attack in Doha, President Trump signed on Monday a presidential order that dramatically upgrades the U.S. commitment to Qatar's security. This is an unprecedented security agreement between the U.S. and an Arab country. According to the presidential order, published today, 'The United States will regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty, or vital infrastructure of the State of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States.' The order further states: 'In the event of such an attack, the United States will take all appropriate and lawful measures – including diplomatic, economic, and if necessary, military measures – in order to defend the interests of the United States and the State of Qatar and to restore peace and stability.'"

According to the numbers, these are the 26 most vulnerable MAGA House representatives. They've spent more time defending “Dear Leader” than the Constitution, and they can be beat. We're pledging to target them all in the 2026 midterms.

Project 2025 was the plan all along

The fever dream of Stephen Miller

Fire as many government employees as possible

Roll back regulations so billionaires can exploit ALL of our resources-including US workers

End anything that promotes equity

Destroy the rule of law

Burn down American democracy

Johnson: "Russ does this reluctantly. He takes no pleasure in this. Russ has to sit down and decide which policies, personnel, & programs are essential & which are not. That's not a fun task and he's not enjoying that responsibility...if they keep the govt closed, it's gonna get more & more painful"

New polling suggests that Trump’s efforts to falsely claim that Democrats shut down the government because they want to provide “free health care for illegal aliens” are not working.

Nearly half of Americans blame the shutdown on Trump and Republicans in Congress, and for good reason.
