When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

An LAPD helicopter claimed to have ID'ed protesters from above and threatened to "come to your house."

The threat was greeted with extreme concern by civil liberties and digital privacy groups. It suggests the LAPD could be using facial recognition to identify and retaliate against protesters.

URGENT! The "nonprofit killer bill" is being voted on in House Ways & Means at 2p today (Tues). The bill gives the government sweeping power to strip 501(c)(3) status from any organization — no due process, no trial, just a designation.

Nonprofits are the heart of the resistance. PLS CALL & SHARE!
WE NEED CALLS NOW! HR 9495, now known as Section 112209, if passed, would give the Trump administration unprecedented power in suppressing nonprofits, by allowing the administration the power to strip organizations of their tax exempt status!

Arresting judges for “interfering” is another line crossed deep into the field of fascism. Not sure how the alarm can be sounded any louder.
Breaking News: FBI Director Kash Patel said that agents arrested a Wisconsin county judge and accused her of obstructing immigration enforcement, a major escalation in the Trump administration’s battle with local authorities over deportations.

1. A new Texas bill outright criminalizes being transgender as felony fraud. It is one of the most alarming bills that I have ever seen.

Though it stands little chance of passage, its rationale is already being used in other places and by the trump admin.

This point raises such a good comparison. In previous years, Andrew Tate moved to Romania so he could avoid the law in the UK and the US. Then Romania began prosecuting him, and he fled to the US. What does that say about the degradation of the threat of law in the US under Trump?
He’s literally living outside the US to commit crimes more easily. I don’t understand how anyone can justify supporting him
