If the new tariffs stay in place for multiple years, and are enforced and inflationary, and DOGE continues to cut and fire , we will be in a far worse situation than 2008
Hey, Mark. Assume Trump doesn't "cut deals" to reduce tariffs, and they just go into effect, as-is, if not even worse. What's the worst-case outcome. Would we face a recession comparable to 2008? Worse? As bad as the 2020 pandemic recession? Worse?

That's why it's important for anyone with a platform to remind everyone that (1) Trump can't pardon Chauvin on state charges and (2) Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, is highly unlikely to grant that pardon.

The right now wants to pardon Officer Chauvin who was convicted of killing George Floyd. Chauvin had his knee on his neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. This led to the biggest protests this country has ever seen.
