Mad TV premiered on Fox #30yearsagotoday. Intended to compete with Saturday Night Live, the show never enjoyed high ratings. However, it was nominated for 43 Emmys and won five. Nicole Suillivan, Aries Spears, Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, and Artie Lange were all cast members.

I made it ya’ll. Next week on the 22nd, I am at my official 5 years after Chemo and treatment for Lymphoma. I had my last appointment today with Rogel Cancer Center. They set you free after 5 years. It’s a bittersweet moment because Dad was with me every step of my treatment, every (1)

My cousin (sister) - 60 had a wonderful homegoing this morning with full military & police (retired this year) honors.

Loved that she razzed her pastor about her beloved Giants. You can imagine our house during football games with Commanders, Cowboys, Oilers/Titan fans, etc.

Police have literally terrorized Black communities for decades: literally instigating conflicts, stalking Black people, including kids.

Most white people have zero clue that they live in a completely different world—solely b/c of their race. As a 1/2-white Black man, this is plainly apparent to me.

The 2nd trial of Lyle and Erik Menendez began #30yearsagotoday. The 1st trial of the brothers, who stood accused of murdering their parents, had ended in a mistrial. The trial lasted until March 1996 with the jury voting to convict. The brothers were sentenced to life without parole.
