Could you be any more tepid @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social?
What you should be saying loudly, often, & acting on:
1. Impeach Donald Trump for violating his constitutional oath, being a vile, unethical rascist & violating the Hatch Act
2. DHS is a terrorist organization & needs to be fully defunded.
The Obamas are brilliant, compassionate and patriotic Americans. They represent the best of this country.

Donald Trump is a vile, unhinged and malignant bottom feeder.

Why are GOP leaders like John Thune continuing to stand by him?

Republicans must immediately denounce Trump’s disgusting bigotry.

Failure to Alert Judge to Press Law for Reporter Search Draws Ethical Scrutiny

The Justice Department may have violated a candor rule by not disclosing a 1980 law when seeking a warrant for a Washington Post reporter’s home.

Just like with Kilmer Abrego Garcia, the biggest sin any targeted immigrant can commit is winning battles — legal or PR battles — against the government, and they just won’t let those losses go

I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

The Trump admin has shut down the CIA’s World Factbook, a country reference that for six decades has provided data on birth and death rates, major exports, and more. Long used by government officials and by researchers, educators, and journalists, the database was taken offline today.

Bad idea. ICE is pre-funded by the BBB. Also, CBP is just as bad if not worse and also pre-funded by the BBB. Severing ICE gives away any leverage we have to shut down the rest of DHS. We should be demanding to defund ICE/CBP of its BBB money and shut down ALL of DHS if they don’t agree.

Hakeem Jeffries went from “no masks” to “no masks in an arbitrary and capricious fashion.” Schumer has adopted a similar position. At some point, you have to take a stand on something. Not allowing armed men in masks to roam our streets seems like an easy one. Apparently not.

It seems that the proclivity toward serious criminality (felonies) is far higher among ICE and CBP agents than among immigrants taken as a whole. Stats on this subject are persistent and offer the same results.

Q: So 700 agents are leaving. How many will that leave here once that group is out?

Homan: Around 2,000

Q: And what is the pre-operation footprint?

Homan: 150

If anyone was wondering, the ~23% reduction in ICE agents in Minnesota apparently doesn't include the ones down the street that are lurking, now as I type this, as vulnerable folks are getting their kids to the school bus this morning.

We cannot rest until ICE is gone, entirely.

The headline should be, "DHS to keep 2,000 immigration officers in Minnesota."

Instead, it seems the entirety of the traditional media went with, "DHS to withdraw 700 immigration officers from Minnesota."

This presser worked like a charm.
Homan in Minneapolis: "Effective immediately, we will draw down 700 people effective today."
