How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

tbh if you're at all interested in hockey then I recommend the new Panthers ep of Amazon's NHL docuseries. the show in general is pretty vacuous but that one ep is so entertaining because it's just multiple montages of Florida rats pestering their opponents to the point of public meltdowns.

SUNRISE, Fla. — Niko Mikkola had an assist on a goal that gave the Florida Panthers an 8-0 lead. Problem was, he'd been kicked out of the game a few minutes earlier and nobody noticed.

Florida beat Tampa Bay 7-0 in the preseason finale for both clubs Saturday night, though the score was irrelevant. There were 65 penalties for 312 minutes on the stat sheet, including 13 game misconduct penalties — seven for Tampa Bay, six for Florida. The penalty count kept rising after the game, while officials were making sure everything that was called got logged.

at one point we BRIEFLY see some of his garden. no hints of personal life or opinions. full respect to his desire for privacy but there's only so many times they can reword the same statement about Competitive Spirit before you start to sense the documentary editors panicking about lack of material.

obsessed w the new sidney crosby ep of amazon's NHL docuseries, maybe the least informative documentary ever made. they're allowed to do three things: talk about his desire to Win, film him working out, and speculate about whether he might switch teams (with zero comment from the man himself).

I guess the question is what do you define as harassment? (like, allowing someone to use the site to incite offline harassment seems ... ok to you? but replying or posting with a "negative" or "mean" tone is ... not ok?) Genuinely, it is unclear what bsky means given the "waffles" of it all.

the origin story for Chase Infiniti's name is just SO good

Infiniti uses her middle name as her surname. She was named after the Batman Forever (1995) character Chase Meridian, played by Nicole Kidman, and Buzz Lightyear's line "To infinity and beyond" from Toy Story (1995).
