The chutzpah of an immigrant saying other immigrants shouldn’t be citizens is astounding. I guess if they are from a wealthy family and are on the correct side of the skin tone spectrum it’s acceptable to him though.

Pans Labyrinth for me. Such an amazing piece of work but I was just exhausted from it afterwards.
Never mind movies you’ve watched multiple times, name a movie you’ve watched once and would never watch again.

i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

Maybe instead of committing atrocities, we could just make the rich pay their fair share and have universal healthcare and affordable housing instead.

Idk, just spitballing here.

This is fundamentally Nazism. The idea that different peoples than the favored races carry degradation in their very genes, that they cannot strive to become better because biology compels them to be worse. It’s not just repugnant, it’s a bald faced lie.

Stephen Miller, ranting abt "mass migration" & failure to assimilate, is the descendant of immigrants fleeing "broken homelands" & only has a US passport bc of the birthright citizenship he wants to abolish.

As @sethcotlar.bsky.social says, it's MILLER who hasn't culturally assimilated to the US.

Be prepared for the redaction cover-up. It's coming. We will need to keep fighting until the entire truth comes out.

Aside from the lying lies in what he's saying, he's repeating the same racist crap that the right in Europe are putting out about housing issues here. Hint: housing limitations are almost always the very wealthy and land owners.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Absolute must read on the AI bailout-in-progress: apparently it's not enough that lifetimes of human ingenuity and creativity have been stolen and enclosed to create generative AI and balloon billionaire wealth - much more public looting is in store...
This week Open AI walked back a call for the govt to backstop financing for its trillion dollar investments in data centers. This was only the tip of the iceberg; a slow bailout for AI firms is already underway. Read more from @ambakak.bsky.social and I in @wsj.com: www.wsj.com/opinion/you-...

OVER A MILLION USERS

DISCUSS SUICIDE WITH CHATGPT

EVERY *WEEK*

what the fuck are we DOING here
Panera’s moderately caffeinated lemonade was loosely associated with 2 deaths before it was taken off market.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.
