The thing about protesting at Broadview is that the law is whatever the cop in front of you decides it is that day. There’s a special zone for free speech, only during certain hours of course. Arrested another protester. For no fucking reason. Not in the magical “you have rights in here only” zone 🤡

i've been trying to see what the right wing platforms (even outside of X) are showing people regarding the protests in LA and i am not sure it can be overstated just how much the AI slop is being used to reinforce the idea that downtown is a post-apocalyptic war zone

I keep trying to bang the drum on this. We didn't lose because we had anywhere near the weaker candidate; we lost a propaganda war we weren't properly fighting. The only way to win would have been to lie as hard or harder. And that's a baby we aren't willing to throw out with the bathwater.
