Unutterable evil.
Gaza is being used as a lab for the most evil weaponry imaginable.
Just horrific.
“Four of my children just evaporated,” Badran said, holding back tears. “I looked for them a million times. Not a piece was left. Where did they go?”

There are no words to adequately describe the evil here.
Israel used weapons in Gaza that made thousands of Palestinians evaporate
US-made thermal weapons burning at 3,500C caused 2,842 people to "evaporate" in Gaza, Al Jazeera investigation finds.

The Govan Sarcophagus, c850, recovered from the kirkyard and now in display inside Govan Old Church, Glasgow. The relief depicts a king on horseback hunting deer. It's claimed by some as the coffin of St Constantine, but the date makes this unlikely. #History #HistoryMatters

Moran was born in Philadelphia in 1864, he made his reputation as a figure painter, although he also painted landscapes.

£240m. With no tender. Palantir.

I wrote to Wes Streeting last week demanding answers.

Every day without any transparency deepens the scandal.

Palantir out.
Mandelson’s malign influence runs right through the heart of this Government.

Not least in the govt’s NHS data deal with Palantir – a spy-tech firm co-founded by a man who thinks the NHS should be ‘ripped up.’

I've written to Wes Streeting urging him to ditch this dangerous deal.

He lied and lied to get into power.
He expelled MPs who did the right thing
He pretended migrants were the source of all our problems
He watched a genocide taking place and protected the perpetrator.
He criminalised decent citizens who spoke out.
I could go on.

Starmer is not a decent man.

The White Tree

Early morning. So early, the mist lies heavy on the water, and the birds are still half asleep.
I'm not exactly awake either, running on no more than coffee and a vision of this tree in fog.

A lot of the Church’s focus is on its historic financial entanglement with slavery. But in some ways this is the tip of the iceberg. The Anglican (and Catholic) Church was a major force within slave plantation societies, legitimising, normalising, and proselytising slavery.
The Church of England is developing a reparative justice scheme in recognition of its complicity in trans-Atlantic slavery. Project Spire has been attacked in Parliament and the right wing press with claims of flawed historical research. What’s the truth?
