I have approximate knowledge of many things
It's crazy how one of the biggest (anime) artists on this platform is actually just tracing AI

When it'll start being noticed by bigger accounts it'll be a collective 9/11 for thousands of people

AI is a cancer.
New from me: The storied fiddler Ashley MacIsaac wanted to play a show at a Nova Scotia First Nation. It got cancelled because Google's AI search summary incorrectly called him a sex offender. Now he's worried for his safety www.theglobeandmail.com/culture/arti...

Also, man, all those beautifully drawn faces and noses... we'll never ever get them again in anime, huh
Finally decided to get into Berserk and watched the 1997 series

Extremely good, but one thing that I found a bit jarring towards the end was when Guts leaves the Band of the Hawk to go on his own way...

Been thinking on the use of GenAi for mood boards. Ethics and legal risks aside, I truly believe using GenAi as references deprives one of many pivotal things.

Here’s a blurb on what I mean:

The thing thats so insidious about using AI this way is that one of the main ways artists get hired are studios looking for art references and they find us and reach out.

This is removing a major avenue to get work if they can just generate nameless derivations of our ideas.

I fucking hate these bs articles publishing some studies as if they were actually peer reviewed

I'm begging you people, you should question every single one of these stories where a single study supposedly made a huge breakthrough in x scientific field, 90% of those are usually straight up bs
“Imagine if we truly understand complex whale communication & can extend our term ‘language’ to them. Such breakthroughs would not only rewrite biology textbooks but also fundamentally redefine what it means to be human & pave the way to instituting new protections for whales, the ocean & beyond”🧪

This is an insanely stupid opinion
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

Pokemon player wants to play Pokemon, but Pokemon does not want them to play Pokemon; this re

Genuinely wild though that there hasn't been a big blockbuster about Giuseppe Garibaldi yet, like it was literally *THE* hero, fighting for everyone's indipendence against big empires, slavery and being pro workers' rights, racial equality and the emancipation of women
