Saw a post on TikTok about Columbia taking away degrees backfiring, and it made me realize - taking Degrees is way as punishment demonstrates how these institutions believe that their mission is conferring privilege and not providing education.

There’s no evidence that vaccines cause autism.

Air pollution.

One of the perks of living in a city with a thriving culture scene - got to watch childhood crush from Hip Hip Hurray, Suchitra Pillai, and the amazing Lillete Dubey (who hasn't got her due in movies) live! Even their voices are just so powerful to hear in person. Kinda awestruck!

This is an amazing study, but the implications are genuinely horrifying. Suggests we should be investing massively more effort and resources into quality-of-life for unresponsive patients. And that speaking regularly to a comatose person—often viewed as magical thinking—is in fact deeply humane.

Waymo is peak American innovation. With way less money they could have built a reliable public transport network, but instead someone was like "what if we could find a way for empty vehicles to contribute to traffic too? There's no reason we can't have more cars on the road than there are drivers"
